How It Works

Directly within a SOAP note or recommendation, click "+ Add with Handcraft Health" to prescribe custom formulas and Chinese medicine that ship straight to your patient's door — no extra steps, no separate systems, and no need for a costly inventory.

Whether you're navigating the complexities of Traditional Chinese Medicine or building a targeted Functional Medicine protocol, you get frictionless access to a catalog of over 20,000 TCM herbs, nutraceuticals, pure essential oils, and custom granule formulations from more than 200 brands.

Getting Started

  1. Enable the Handcraft Health integration from Settings > Integrations.

  2. Open a SOAP note or recommendation for a patient and click "+ Add with Handcraft Health".

  3. Build your recommendation and send your patient's order instantly.

💡 Good to know: Handcraft Health is currently rolling out in early access. If you don't see the integration in your Settings > Integrations page yet, it's on its way soon.

Where Do the Herbs Come From?

Here's what the Handcraft Health team shared with us about their sourcing.

Ready-Made Products

Handcraft Health carries over 20,000 products from more than 200 professional brands, including Spring Wind, Classical Pearls, Blue Poppy, Health Concerns, Seven Forests, Far East Summit, KanHerb, Tianjiang, Herbalist & Alchemist, Gaia Herbs, Pure Encapsulations and Douglas Laboratories.

When you order a patent formula or supplement, it comes directly from that brand, so the sourcing and quality standards are the manufacturer's own.

Custom Granule Formulas

Custom granules are made with herbal granules from Treasures of the East, sourced with exceptional care:

  • Dao Di sourcing: About 95% of their raw herbs are Dao Di, sourced directly from each herb's traditional region of origin across 22 provinces in China.

  • Direct farm relationships: They work directly with over 300 farms, including more than 100 that Tianjiang owns or co-owns.

  • Seed-level quality control: They partner with China Pharmaceutical University on quality control starting at the seed.

  • Water-only extraction: No other solvents are used in the extraction process.
